What is a road & track-day racing suit?
A road & track-day racing suit is a flame-resistant driving suit for circuit driving — HPDE, club racing and sports-car endurance — most commonly built to SFI 3.2A/5: a double layer of Nomex® certified to the SFI Foundation’s 3.2A standard at the “/5” thermal level, giving roughly 10 seconds of fire protection versus ~3 for a single-layer suit.
Unlike a sprint-only suit, a road/track suit is tuned for time in the seat — breathable lining, full gussets and stretch panels for longer stints. Where a series instead mandates FIA 8856-2018 homologation, that’s an option we’ll confirm against your rulebook before you order.

Built for time in the seat
- SFI 3.2A/5 Double-Layer Nomex®
Two bonded layers of flame-resistant meta-aramid earn the 3.2A/5 rating and roughly 10 seconds of fire protection — the build most road and club rulebooks require.
- Breathable for Long Stints
A moisture-wicking inner lining and ventilated construction move heat away from your body so a 30–45 minute endurance stint stays bearable, not brutal.
- 360° Gussets + Stretch Panels
Underarm gussets and lower-back and crotch stretch panels let you reach the wheel and shifter freely — and clear an aggressive seat bolster.
- One-Piece or Two-Piece
Pick a one-piece for the cleanest fire seal in wheel-to-wheel racing, or a two-piece jacket-and-pants set for quick on/off between track-day sessions.
- 100% Custom Design
Your colors, panels, club and sponsor logos and embroidered name — designed with you, free, with unlimited revisions before you pay.
- Free Gloves + Shoes ($400)
Every custom road/track suit ships with matching SFI-rated gloves and shoes included at no extra cost.

Real flame. Real Nomex®. Zero damage.
We held an open flame to the exact double-layer fabric in every road/track suit. It didn’t ignite, melt or drip — that’s the ~10 seconds the “/5” rating buys you when a session goes wrong.
- Won’t ignite — flame-resistant at the fiber level
- Won’t melt — chars in place to prevent burn-through
- SFI 3.2A certified, independently tested

Protects you — and keeps you cool
Certified to SFI 3.2A/5, the double-layer Nomex® chars instead of burning — it won’t ignite, melt or drip, giving you roughly 10 seconds to get clear of a fire. That’s the standard most road-course and club rulebooks demand, on your back.
Where a road/track suit earns its keep is the long run: a breathable inner lining, 360° underarm gussets and lower-back stretch panels keep you cool and mobile through a 40-minute endurance stint or a full day of HPDE laps — tailored to your exact measurements so the suit moves with you.

How to measure for a race suit →What customers say about us
I run six or seven track days a season plus a couple of club enduros, and my old single-layer suit cooked me every session. The FervoGear double-layer breathes way better than I expected — the back stretch panel and the inner lining make a huge difference over a 25-minute stint. Looks sharp in the paddock too, and it cost me hundreds less than the name brands.
I race a spec endurance series where stints can run 45+ minutes and the cockpit gets brutal. I was worried a custom suit would mean compromising on comfort, but the fit is dialed to my measurements and the gussets let me reach the wheel without the suit fighting me. Three drivers on our team have ordered since.
The whole process was painless. I sent my club logos and a rough color idea and had a proof back the same day. They tweaked the leg cut twice so it'd clear my seat bolster, then built it to my numbers. Showed up in under four weeks, fits like it was poured on, and it's SFI 3.2A/5 so it passes tech everywhere I've run.
My region's HPDE program bumped to requiring a multi-layer suit and I didn't want to spend a fortune. FervoGear was the only place that let me design something genuinely mine — embroidered name, my sponsor, my colors — at a price that made sense for someone who isn't a pro. Comfortable enough that I forget I'm wearing it.
Bought a two-piece for track days and a one-piece for club races, both custom to match. The breathability is the standout — I used to soak through my undersuit by the second session and now I'm fine. Quality of the stitching and the embroidery is genuinely better than the off-the-rack suit I retired.
I coach at track days and I'm in and out of cars all day, so comfort and movement matter more than anything. This suit moves with me, the cuffs and collar finish nicely, and students always ask where I got it. Easy reorder for the rest of my coaching crew.
