What is a youth race suit?
A youth race suit is a custom driving suit drafted from a child body block and patterned to a young driver's exact measurements — for karting, quarter-midget and junior dragster. The key difference from a smaller adult suit is the proportions: a kid has a short torso, short arms and a short inseam, so a true youth pattern fits where a scaled-down adult bunches, sags and snags.
Because young drivers grow fast, every suit is built with grow-room and is light and breathable so it never fights a small body. Where the rulebook calls for fire protection — junior dragster and many quarter-midget classes — we build the suit to the required SFI spec.

What makes a youth suit different
- Drafted From a Child Block
The pattern starts from a junior body shape — short torso, short arms, short inseam — so it fits a kid, not a shrunk-down adult that bunches and sags.
- Built-In Grow-Room
Adjustable seam and length allowance means the suit fits now and after a growth spurt — more than one season out of a single suit.
- Lightweight + Comfortable
A light, breathable build that small drivers can move and breathe in all day — no heavy, stiff fabric fighting a young body.
- SFI Options Where Required
Pure karting needs no SFI rating; junior dragster and many quarter-midget classes do. We build to SFI 3.2A/1 or 3.2A/5 to match your series.
- Fun, 100% Custom Designs
Your young driver picks the colors, number, even a character — embroidered name included, with a free mockup and unlimited revisions.
- Free Matching Gloves
Every youth suit ships with a set of matching gloves sized for smaller hands, so the whole look lands the day it arrives.

Light to wear. Tough where it counts.
Kids race hard and grow fast. A youth suit has to be light enough to move in, tough enough to take a slide, and built with the room to last — and when the rulebook calls for fire protection, we add the certified SFI layer the class requires.
- Lightweight, breathable build a kid can move in
- Abrasion-resistant face + reinforced seams
- SFI 3.2A/1 or 3.2A/5 where the class requires it

Start your design — it’s freeBuilt to fit — and to grow into
A young driver does not need a suit that fits today and is too small by next season. Every youth suit is patterned with an adjustable seam and length allowance, so it fits now and still fits after a growth spurt — and the two-piece option gives even more room and easier on-and-off.
Because it is drafted from a child block rather than a resized adult, the torso, sleeves and leg cut are true to a kid — no bunched cuffs, no rolled hems, no excess fabric to snag or distract. A suit that moves with a young driver builds confidence on the grid.

I'm next-level PICKY. My first custom suit was a K1 suit and it sucked — stitching fell out, fit terribly, came back from alterations just as bad. Then I heard about FervoGear. Skeptical at first, but their designs were great and they're MADE IN AMERICA. We went all in and ordered four 3-layer suits — they all came out awesome. Super comfortable.
FervoGear's suits are hands down some of the best in the industry. We constantly get compliments on how sharp they look — people assume they must have cost thousands of dollars, yet they're surprisingly affordable. We've put them through intense conditions, including a few fires in the race car, and they still look brand new.
The entire process from start to finish was incredibly smooth. I sent over some basic design ideas and logos, and their design team created an amazing proof within 24 hours. They were happy to make several small adjustments to get everything perfect. The suit arrived right on schedule and the quality is outstanding!
FervoGear created a custom race suit for me and it has been an incredible experience. They delivered a perfectly fitting suit and went above and beyond by including free Nomex® gloves. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were outstanding. Even more impressive — I had it just 3.5 weeks after ordering, with free shipping.
We love our one-piece race suit. The quality and looks were exactly what we were looking for — we ended up ordering a two-piece suit too. Thank you so much!
I ordered a custom full suit and realized too late that I also needed a sponsor logo for compliance with my team's agreements. The team was super quick to help and got it all sorted for me. Really happy with the service and will order again.
