Warranty
Last updated June 2026
This is general policy information, not legal advice — please have a qualified attorney review it for your situation.FervoGear stands behind every suit we build. We warrant our custom race suits against defects in workmanship and materials under normal racing use. This warranty gives you specific rights; you may also have other rights under your local law.
What’s covered
For the warranty period, we cover defects that result from how the suit was made or the materials we used, including:
- Stitching and seam failures under normal use.
- Hardware defects — zippers, cuffs, belt loops and fastenings.
- Material flaws in the Nomex® or other flame-resistant fabric as supplied.
- Workmanship issues such as a suit not built to your approved measurements or design.
If we confirm a covered defect, we’ll repair or remake the affected suit at no charge.
What’s not covered
- Normal wear, fading, abrasion, staining or shrinkage from use and laundering.
- Damage from accidents, fire, crashes, improper care, alterations, or repairs done by anyone other than FervoGear.
- Fit issues caused by body changes after measurement, or measurements that did not follow our guidance.
- Misuse, racing outside the suit’s intended rating, or use in conditions the product wasn’t designed for.
SFI certification note
FervoGear suits are independently certified to the applicable SFI Foundation standard (such as SFI 3.2A) at the time of manufacture. SFI certifications have their own validity periods and re-certification requirements set by the SFI Foundation and sanctioning bodies — those program rules are separate from this product warranty. You are responsible for keeping your gear within your series’ required, in-date rating. Learn more on our SFI ratings explained guide.
Caring for your suit
To keep your warranty valid and your suit performing, follow the care instructions on the label — wash gently, avoid harsh chemicals and high heat, and store it clean and dry. Proper care protects the flame-resistant properties of the fabric.
How to file a claim
If you believe your suit has a covered defect, contact us with your order number, a description of the problem, and clear photos. We’ll review your claim, and if it’s covered, we’ll arrange a repair or remake and provide a return label where needed. Please reach out promptly — addressing issues early gives us the best chance to fix them quickly.
